Tips to get the most out of your product
Candle Care
In order to ensure a long-lasting candle, we highly encourage you to apply these strategies each time you use the candle.

Burn Time
Always let the candle wax melt to the edge of vessel each time you burn it.
If you blow it out after 15 minutes for example, the wax will tunnel, and it will be difficult to ever have it melt to the edge again.

Trim the Wick
The wick must be trimmed prior to burning the candle each time. While you can use a wick trimmer, it is not required.
Simply knock off nearly all of the burnt, blackened wood so that about 1/4 inch remains.

Wood Wicks
have a mind of their own.
Don’t give up. Sometimes you follow all of the “rules,” and the wooden wicks will not light the first time. Please send us a message or an email if you continue to have difficulties.

Candle Warmers & Lamps
All candles made by C & A Soy Candles are safe to use with candle lamps and candle plate warmers.

Reuse/Recycle
We will gladly reuse your candle vessel and provide $1 back for each container. No need to clean them out, we will do that for you.
If you would like to easily reuse your glass jar please place it in the oven, with the lid off, at 200°F, until the remaining wax is melted. Place that wax in an old metal container until it is cooled to dispose in the trash. Never place candle wax down the drain. While slightly warm, use a paper towel to dispose of any remaining candle wax.
Room + Linen Sprays
The odor eliminating sprays are a wonderful way to refresh any space.

Where NOT to use them
These sprays should not be used on leather, hard wood floors, painted surfaces or any other surface that may get damaged by the fragrance oil.
Additionally, it is not safe to add these to any heating element. Do not spray directly on the body or into the eyes.

If you would like to easily reuse your glass jar please use a paper towel to get any remaining liquid out of the jar. Use warm, soapy water to clean the bottle, if desired.
